Homemade Pizza

Pizza Dough

1 cup lukewarm water
1 tsp. sugar
1 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup cooking oil
2 3/4 cup flour, sifted

Directions

Add sugar to water in large mixing bowl and sprinkle yeast over top.  Give one stir and
let soak for 10 minutes.  Add salt and oil and all but 1/4 cup of flour.

Mix as well as possible, then turnout on floured board and knead 100 times.  Return to
greased bowl, cover and let rise for 30 minutes.

Punch down and divide dough into two balls.  Have two pizza pans ready and press each
ball down on pans, using the palms of your hands to form a rolling pin.  Spread out on the pans.

Pizza Sauce

1 tsp.. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1 6 oz. can tomato paste
1/2 cup water

In a small bowl, mix oregano, salt, tomato paste and water.  Mix well.  Pour this sauce
over prepared dough in pans.  Cover generously with mozzarella cheese .  Top the
cheese with the ingredients you desire (mushrooms, salami, pepperoni, olives, etc.) 
Top with either mozzarella, cheddar or parmesan cheese.

Cook in oven 25-30 minutes, until top bubbles and crust is browning.
Serve at once !!
