Wrinkled Cookies
 

Ingredients

1/2 cups butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

Cream  butter, then add sugar, vanilla and egg.  Beat until light and creamy.  Sift dry
ingredients, then add nuts and sifted ingredients to butter mixture.  Stir until well mixed.

Drop by scant teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets, or baking pans.  Cookies will spread!!
Bake in hot oven, 400 F for 5 minutes.

Cool 1/2 a minute before removing them from baking pane.  Remove to cake racks to
cool more.  Cookies will wrinkle as you take them off the cookie sheet.
Store in a airtight container.
