An Apple a Day

Supplies:

• One 4” terra cotta clay pot

• One 4” terra cotta clay saucer

• 1 1/8” wooden spool

• 2 artificial leaves

• Acrylic paint - red, tan, and green

• Medium black paint pen

• Hot glue & hot glue gun

Instructions:
 

1. Paint clay pot and saucer red and let dry.

2. Then paint worm with tan paint, and use green paint for the stripes.

3. Outline worm and stripes with black paint pen.

4. Use paint pen to draw face onto head of worm.

5. Paint wooden spool tan. When paint is dry, glue spool to the
   center of inverted saucer.

6. Use hot glue gun to glue artificial leaves to the bottom of the spool.
   Let dry.

7. Place saucer on top of pot for lid.

8. Use a black paint pen to personalize rim of pot.
