Block Snowman


Supplies
 

  • Wooden blocks - sizes 2”, 3/4” and 1 1/2”

  • One 2 3/4” wood circle

  • One 1 1/2” wooden flower pot

  • Four 6mm gold jingle bells

  • Three small twigs

  • 22”x3/4” fabric piece

  • Pencil Sharpener

  • Acrylic paints - white, coral, black, orange

  • Hot glue & glue gun

  • Wood glue

  • Wood sealer

  • Directions

    Glue the three blocks together with the wood glue.
     Glue the flower pot upside down to form top hat.
    Paint the blocks white and the top hat black.
    Seal all painted surfaces. Glue hat to top of small block.
    Sharpen a twig with sharpener to a blunt point. Cut to 1” length and paint orange.
    Seal when dry. This is the nose. Paint snowman’s face using black dots for eyes
    and stipple coral for cheeks. Glue nose to face.
    Glue bells for buttons down front. Glue twigs to sides of middle block for arms.
    Wrap strip of fabric around neck for scarf.
    Glue small strip of fabric around rim of pot for hat band.
