Using a ruler find the front center of
the sweatshirt.
Now draw a vertical line down the front of the sweatshirt.

Cut off ribbing at collar, cuff and
bottom of the sweatshirt.

Cut fusible web into 14 six inch
pieces. Iron the fusible web onto the wrong side
of each piece of fabric. It is not necessary to completely cover the
fabric pieces.

Using cardboard or template plastic,
make one template for each of the leaf,
acorn & pumpkin designs designs given.

With the templates, trace the leaf,
acorn & pumpkin designs onto the
fusible web side of the fabric.

The sample given used leaf #1 around
the neck, leaves #2 & #3 down
the center and leaf #4 around the bottom.

Now iron the cut shapes onto the
sweatshirt, refer to manufacture directions on the fusible web. Use the
photo to help with placement of the leaves. Hint: Be sure to overlap the
leaves.

Using fabric paint, draw a line around
all shapes to seal the edges.
Be sure to create a wider line (about 1/4”) around all outside edges.

After the paint has totally dried cut
the center of the outside line, leaving about an 1/8” of fabric paint.
Hint: Avoid cutting all the way to the leaf shape; this could cause
fraying.

Turn the cuffs up approximately 3/4”
twice. Sew on the buttons using DMC floss.
