Paint Can Luminary

Supplies

Small metal paint can
Metallic spray paint
Pencil/marker
Wire
Drill/hammer and nail

Directions

Drill Method:   Fill can with sand, to avoid denting the can. Place dots for design on can with a pencil/marker.  Drill hole at each dot.  For handle:  drill a hole on each side near the top edge.

 Hammer and Nail Method:  Fill can with water and freeze to avoid denting the can.  Place dots for design on can with a pencil/marker.   Tap nail with hammer at each dot.

 When design is finished spray paint the can in the color of your choice. 

Caution:  Never leave candles unattended and protect surfaces from heat.

 Make different designs for each season or holiday.
