-
Remove terra cotta dust and dirt from
the clay pot using a damp cloth and let dry completely
-
Turn the pot upside-down and paint the
pot orange. Paint the wooden spool brown.
Set both aside to dry.
-
Glue the wooden spool on the top of the
pot, matching up the holes in the center.
Draw a jack- o-lantern face on with black marker. Spray with acrylic
sealer.
-
Cut a green leaf from fun foam and glue
to the wooden spool. Cut a few lengths of wire
and wrap them around a pencil or your finger to curl and glue to the
wooden spool.
-
Cut (2) 6” pieces of floral wire. Fold
one in half and twist the two ends together,
forming a loop at one end and a “T” at the other.
-
Slide the bell onto the other piece of
wire and twist together to hold the bell in place.
-
Attach the two wires by sticking the
ends of the wire with the bell through the
loop of the other wire and twist to secure.
-
Push the loop from the first wire up
through the inside of the pumpkin and
out through the spool. Pull gently until the “T” shape reaches the top
inside
of the pumpkin. Put a small amount of glue to hold the wire in place.
